What Should I Expect at My First Dentist Appointment?
At your first (and every) dentist appointment with Dr. Felton, you can expect an experienced, dedicated dental team to provide you with the complete oral care that you need. Your first visit will proceed as follows:
-oral cancer screening
-full series of digital photos to evaluate your dental health
-digital x-rays (90% less radiation compared to conventional x-rays)
-perio/gum tissue analysis to determine the type of cleaning therapy needed
-comprehensive oral evaluation in order to assess the best plan for your individual needs
-complete exam and decay diagnosis, which may include the non-invasive laser DIAGNOdent
-personal interview with the doctor or patient coordinator to discuss any specific concerns or questions

We ask new patients to arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled appointment. We will enter your information and health history into our updated computer system. To make things go quickly and smoothly, please make sure to bring information with you regarding your current medical prescriptions, medical history, and dental insurance.
